Specifications: Weigh in Motion v1.0.0 is software that works hand in hand with the LCIC-1106a loadcell interface card. It is intended for low speed weighing. The software can operate in two modes, static weighing and dynamic weighing. In static weighing mode, the software does nothing more than display the current weight on the weighpads. In dynamic weighing mode, the software automatically starts the weighing in motion algorithm when the dynamic threshold is reached. For example, you have turned on dynamic weighing mode and have set the dynamic threshold to 2000 lbs. The system is now waiting for weight from the weighpads to reach and exceed 2000 lbs. When this happens, the weigh in motion software starts taking samples and saving them to be analyzed after the weighing period has expired. (This is a user defined period of time, set long enough for the entire truck to drive over the scale.) The software now analyzes the samples taken and determines the weight of each axle and the total weight of the vehicle among other statistics. When this is complete, the results are shown, and a graph is drawn as a visual indication of how many axles were weighed.
Main Screen (Click to enlarge) Depending on how you need to use the weigh in motion data, you have 3 options. Option 1 is to use the results window on the main form only. You can save this data to individual text files or print it out. Option 2 is to use a delimited text file. This file will be filled with the same results that you see in the results window, but is easy to import into other programs such as Excel or Word. These files can also be used with non MS Access database systems. Option 3 is to use the supplied MS Access database file. Again, the same data is stored in a table within this file, and can be manipulated as desired. You can use any or all of these options at the same time. These files can be stored locally on the weigh in motion computer, or across a network, allowing realtime data sharing for the weight results.

Whether it's boxes on a conveyor, or trucks on a highway, this software can be configured to work with your application. Setup of the program is simple due to a standard Windows Installer Program, and you only need to setup the system variables once, since they are immediately saved. While in dynamic weighing mode, the system is fully automatic. The weigh in motion algorithm starts automatically based on the weight applied to the weighpads, and the data is stored automatically when the weighing is finished. No human intervention is required for the system to work. Minimum System Requirements: You can either purchase the computer from Massload, or supply it yourself. If we supply the computer, we will install all of the hardware and software that you need and optimize it for your weigh in motion software.
